Hey, poker playas!

The Metro Card Club 750k Is just around the corner. Many people of course are wondering whether or not is it worth playing.

If you look at it from the outside, there are many valid points that people should consider.

The biggest concern that is often questioned is the buy-in and the guaranteed amount.

It is too small for just 750k PHP.

there are other people who have many opinions. but then again if we just look at facts and facts alone. It is a totally different thing.

Let us tackle the good stuff about the Metro 750k

The pot will be great

Yes, the guarantee is only set at 750k PHP. but then again Metro was never like the other poker rooms.

Metro Card Club always had its own market. and the tournament was set for the local market. Other poker organization promotes big guarantees and is solely dependent on that marketing strategy. Metro Card Club doesn’t have big guarantees. but what they had is something different.

Before the Pandemic. there was only 1 poker room that could run 24 hours. If you wanted to play at any hour. you know Metro will have a game.

Even now, they have daily tournaments where there are days that have no guarantee. But a lot of players still join the tournament.

They also held satellites to the main event. safe to say, if they hit 50 on the first day then they will bust the guarantee.

A real poker tournament structure for an affordable price.

A lot of things have changed since the pandemic. There are organizers who tried to push their own opinion on what poker tournament structure should be.

From making it as fast as possible as they claim that this is what the market wants.

But the question is are you a real poker player or do you want to be lucky?

The biggest tournament in the world the WSOP has a 2 hour per level blind. that is how long it is. Every time there is a big buy-in tournament. the structures will always have to be good.

Poker is a great game. it teaches you to have patience, to learn to read your opponent. to have discipline.

It will be a true test of skill not luck.

While other companies strive for 5% of the field. The Metro card club will go for level. the tournaments stop at level 15(?) and the battle continues the next day.

It is the true battle who will be the toughest player on the field.

When you battle to x percent of the field. any player will tell you it could boil down to luck.

Some would say it would be better if you come back already in the money. but are you guys battling to be in the money or to be a champion?

Yeah, it is good to be in the money the next day. but would it not be better when you work harder for something?

They still will have barriers.

In a time when most poker rooms have removed barriers and have lowered their quarantine measures. The Metro Car Club will still have barriers. What is wrong with being just a little longer?

Yes, it is very inconvenient for a lot of players. but why not just extend it for a while longer?

The truth is there was a poker tournament that became a super spreader event this year. Yes, the management tried to hide it and pretend nothing has happened even when players, floor managers, and dealers got sick.

It is difficult to control the spread, We agree. We could end up living with it.

But Metro Card Club taking that extra step is still a welcome move.

End of the day.

If you really want to be a poker champion, you have to hone and sharpen your skills.

You have to play tournament that have decent structures.

there are myths about how tournaments should be. but if you ask a local poker pro. they would tell you that playing in the Metro will be great to hone your tournament skills.

We hope to see you there this week

Stay safe poker playas!
