Team Action PH represents!
Dave Spade – team captain qualifies for day 2
Representing Action PH as the team captain, Dave Spade made sure he qualified for day 2.
One of the top 3 GPI Poker players of the Philippines, he is no doubt one of the biggest threats to the current poker felt.
Definitely the odds on favorite to win this event. his experience could give him an edge but some of the players could give him a run for his money. Including the overall chip leader.
Enrico De Rosa does have a massive stack and is a known high stake cash game player.
There are also others who are veterans on the felt!
Who would win? stay tuned!
Jason Ambara – can he perform a miracle nce again?
Jason Ambata is no stranger entering day 2 with a short stack. in fact, he has done this multiple times and ended up running deep into the final table.
He is a champion, there is no doubt he is.
He was in the top 10 of the GPI Poker Philippines before the pandemic started.
He also ran deep in the special tournament in Okada Manila just last December.
He is a contender to be the champion short stack or not.
But the question remains can he pull off a miracle?
Stay tuned!

The Emperors made their presence felt!
All 3 of the Emperors were seen during the event. but only 2 played!
Lester Edoc was seen on the field but did not run deep during the event.
Flo was definitely looking good and also on top form but did not qualify for day 2.
What happened to Mike Takayama? more on him on Flight 3
JuneBrix is on the rise!
The winner of our special contest. Junebrix Nuestro has been on the rise recently. Handsome, strong, silent, and deadly on the felt.
He has been playing regular mid-stake and high-stake cash games the past few weeks.
Is it good or bad luck? his starting table was one of the toughest tables on the field.
Almost everyone was a champion and a champion of champions. Dave Spade and Lester Edoc are just a few of the opponents he had to face that day.
But it does not really matter if he did succeed. We are sure that he learn a few moves or two being in a table of champions.
The Bad Boyz! Present!
The prince of Hugot – down but not out!
Yatz Javier made his appearance on the poker field. Entering with other Metro Card Club team pros.
Yes, a lot of the Team Pros of the biggest poker room in Manila were in the warm-up. but only a few succeeded in entering Day 2.
But a prince is a prince. We expect a few witty lines from his performance soon!
Janno Alvarez – deep but not enough
Janno Alvarez runs deep on flight B, but sadly he fell short in the end.
He is in great form and was making the right calls. but there are monsters that came out to play.
He did qualify for the money and it was just the starting event.
So it is definitely a good sign.
Next is flight 1c where a Metro Manila missing Son has finally appeared.
Stay tuned!
