The Bishop

In chess, the bishop is the one next to the king. He is the close confidant, the friend, the adviser and in times of war sometimes the war general.

And right now he is not only an adviser and friend to a king but to an emperor.

Soon we would release more information about the bishop.

But before anyone can become a good friend and adviser. They too went through a lot of things.

He recently won a side event during the Okada Manila Millions and it may be his time to shine.

Armed with years of experience. multi-final table appearances, trophies to boast, and regular battle in the high state cash game of Metro Manila, He is the chip leader of Flight 1A.

Can it be his time to shine? stay tuned!

The Gentleman

One of the kindest and most friendly poker players in the Philippines, The Kuya, or elder brother to a lot of the local poker players. Joven Huerto is back!

Playing with confidence and hunger to show his opponent that he still got it takes.

The gentleman smoothly sailed into day 2 with a healthy stack.

He is ready to take anyone on and he did!

Will he bag the first event and give him the best boost at the start of the tournament

But with so many tough opponents can he make it? stay tuned!

Hot sauce

Richard “hotsauce” Marquez finally made it. it has been a while since we last saw Hot sauce make any major appearance.

During the Okada Manila Millions, he made it into the money on the last qualifying day but felt short on qualifying day 2.

He tried again but failed on his attempt at the turbo.

Will he finally get it this round? stay tuned!

Hit the heat bubbles!

Team ActionPH pro felt short on hitting day 2. although he qualified for the money.

Wanting to come back the next day with a healthy stack. He shoves his king-high hand preflop in an attempt to steal the blinds.

It was a crucial stage as many players wanted to qualify for day 2. it was at the battle of the blinds as everyone has folded.

But Alas, his opponent had a pair and was ready for any showdown. thus extinguishing the hears run.

Out of the woodwork and into the fire pit

After a long absence on the live scene. a lot of players and champions are coming out to battle.

This time they are more comfortable with the current pandemic situation and ready to do battle.

They have been quite busy in other businesses during the pandemic. Hence they may be out of tune.

However, the fast-paced action of the warm-up event is not easy to beat as only 5% of the field would qualify for day 2.

It’s just not their day, but champions will rise again.

And it is not to see great players on the felt.

Stay safe poker playas!
