Resort Wolrd Manila – APT Mystery bounty weekend.

Now for those who are hungry for a real poker tournament. The first real poker tournament in Metro Manila will happen on March 3-6, 2022. Although they have added a little spice to the game which could make the game more fun.

However, just being the first real

Players to look forward to in 2022

As we have done so in the past few years. We began a series that focus on the players of Metro Manila.

However, as there was a time constraint. we decided to redo it again. this time starting from the older generation towards the new.

We would continue the series as the next event is still on February 20, 2022. But we would start adding the interview we have yet to release.

Here is a quick recap of what we have written so far. (with updates and minor adjustments).

The Old Guards

The Old Guards are the players who were part of the first generation who made a name for themselves even when poker was still so young in the Philippines.

They were the first

They paved the way for the younger generation and becomes the mentors and inspiration to a lot of the players you know today.

Read more about them by clicking the photo.

The wolves of Old Malate

They were part of the first generation. However, by their own choices.

They are great players and have recently shown the next generation that they still have a thing or two up their sleeves.

And their time may still come. After all, it is years of experience that they have built that made them great players. Rico went into day 2 of the Okada Manila Millions main event Even when he was down to a chip and a chair while Alexander Ungria became the chip leader of day 1 for the Special tournament of Okada Manila.

They still have it. so 2022 could be the year they rise above the rest.

The big 3 Emperors

They are the pride of PH poker, their achievements have yet to be matched and they are still going at it.

A WSOP bracelet holder and the first Filipino to with the APOY. The other one won the biggest tournament in Asia, The Red Dragon, and the APPT.

Takayama after coming back from the states was in a final table almost daily on the recently concluded Okada Manila Millions.

Flo bagged a side event and Lester was the first runner-up on the special tournament last December

We heard the news that both Takayama and Flo are actively playing the big games in Manila recently.

The best is yet to come for these guys.

The 4 kings

The 4 kings are the other great players of PH. The difference is they split their time between live and online poker.

However, they are also active in the live scene as Dave took a trophy on the special event last December and is active in the big cash games.

While Vam finished second place in the RVS Cup 2021. He was reportedly seen in Pampanga in the big cash game there.

The Icebreaker Kim Enriquez was seen in Okada playing big games and was semi-active during the tournaments. But hell, he is the Icebreaker. We know for sure he would break another barrier soon.

The Other and what to expect in the next few days!

There were other players we have written about which were the League and the Bad boyz. Originally it was a long list.

Now that there is a huge break time. We would visit them again reworked it and add in more groups.

Then there are the other interviews we have yet to release plus Updates on current health protocols of poker rooms and some more specials soon.

so stay tuned guys!

Stay safe Poker Playas!
