He has been in a final table daily of a side event since the start of the Event.

There was not a single day of this tour where Mike Takayama was not on the final table.

They are the true Yonkos (Emperors) of the PH poker Scene.

So let do the recap!

Event 8 – PHP 5,000 NLH Shot clock – single – Re-entry

Jeffrey “Apling Apling anooooo??” Pamplona bag the win for this side event. it was a star-studded final table.

It included some of the biggest names in the local poker scene which included Mike Takayama. Chris “Big time” Mateo,  LXP Hit the heat, Rodrigo “Kalyaw” Sequite, and Jonathan Dimaculangan.

Main event

The main event was star-studded as the big names in the local poker scene has finally come to play.

Flo Campomanes, APPT champion, and Red Dragon champion played the main event and were gaining good chips until one player stop his track.

As was reported by our sources (to be confirmed). Flo had a set of 8 on the turn while his opponent had a top pair open-ended draw.

His opponent shoved which was called by Flo but the opponent got lucky on the river and hit a strait.

Lester Edoc also appeared on the scene and ran deep. but did not qualify for day 2.

3 of the four kings have made their appearance as well. Only Jon Constiniano is missing the action.

Kim “The Icebreaker” Enriquez made it to the ITM but was the bubble for day 2.

The defending champion of the Okada Manila Millions has also made his appearance felt.

Jose Colada is the unofficial chip leader for Day 1D.

Before the lockdown started. Jose Colada took home the championship of the first Okada Manila Millions back in 2020.

Can he do a repeat?

8 players qualified for day 2 which also includes a Side event champion.

June Brix Nuestro, The event 4 champion has a very good stack and could be the second chip leader of day 1D.

He was the one that stopped the Icebreaker Kim Enriquez from entering day 2.

Could he be the new young blood that could create waves in 2022?

Oops! (We are sorry, we almost forgot to add this. all fix now)

Bad boyz Janno Alvarez also made it into day 2.

Janno finished the event with a good stack bringing the flag of the badboyz to day2.

the Prince of Hugot Yatz is out of action while Royly is still trying to get into day 2.

There are still 3 more day 1’s
