Players to watch out for in 2022
Publish date: December 31, 2021

Hey, Poker playas!

As we have said, there are so many talented Filipino poker players. it really going to be difficult to feature all of them.

The next batch is the players who may have shined already but we firmly believe their time has not yet come.

They are some of the nicest people in the industry hence we decided to play with the words. because to be honest. they do belong in the league of gentlemen.

Ken Ogoratikal

A newcomer in terms of on the felt. Ken may be a small guy but man this guy can play the biggest game anytime.

He is always ready to play at any action table.

But one of the nice players on the felt.

Joseph Sia

Joseph Sia has won many awards and is a great player. but he is quite a friendly guy.

Currently focused on his family business and has not played much on the field lately as tournaments in Metro Manila are still rare.

But we do hope to see him soon!

Raphael Bulaong

A quiet man who has been playing on the felt for many years now. He has slowly been making deep runs before the pandemic.

recently in the final table of the RVS cup. this guy has shown a lot of improvement to his game. a definite must watch.

Gerardo Lubas

After years of being SINGLE, Gerardo is now not SINGLE and has been managing his time between the felt and enjoying life.

He is quite a nice man and has so far made good use of his trip to Las Vegas. Although still trying to adapt back to the local market. We hope 2022 would be good for this great man.

Joven Huerto

The gentleman among gentlemen. Joven Huerto is a family guy and is one of the kindest people on and off the felt.

We have not seen him on the special tournament but was on day 2 of the RVS Cup of Metro Card Club.

he was running well before the pandemic began and we hope this time he runs deeper in 2022.

Jason Ambata

A humble guy that is liked by a lot of the players. He recently ran deep in the recently concluded SPecial tournament.

THis guy is good. but has yet to reach the peak.

will 2022 be his year? we hope so!

Euryd Rivera

One of the Rivera brothers who are real-life brothers that have made a name on the felt.

Euryd Rivera has a humble personality that made some of the biggest players in the local and Asian players grow to love and respect.

He has won quite a number of trophies but he was always our favorite to win a big one someday.

We hope 2022 be the year he finally breaks the ice and earn a major title.

Alexis Lim

There are two Alexis Lim in the Philippines that are great poker players. However since the start of the pandemic. No tournaments in Manila were conducted for almost 2 years

Both are equally good players and have run deeps in big major tournaments.

Hit d heat

A relative newcomer to poker. Hit D feat more know achievements are on the online felt.

Although he was spotted during the special tournament. it was not fruitfully for this young man.

but he carefully took it in and went into the next. We hope good stuff happens to him in 2022 and finally gets a coveted spaddy.

Alexis Lim

The other Alexis Lim. this man hails from Cebu and is a poker streamer and a champion.

although he was absent in the last 2 live tournaments. He had already booked his hotel and flight for the next big tournament in Manila.

This time with a team! a Trueborn leader and he will lead his pack to fight.

We Definitely wish him luck in 2022.
