As we bid goodbye to September. we now welcome October. and it is looking good.
But for today we would like to share something that is a little bit weird and somewhat amazing.
It is the synchronicity of the world.
Did you know September is usually the end of summer why October signifies the beginning of Autumn? and the synchronicity is amazing.
The end of summer and the beginning of autumn.
Although we live in Asia and our seasons may be different. but what do you think about when people ask you about summer.
Is it not having to go to a beach, having fun in the sun, forget about tomorrow and enjoy today.
Then autumn is about when leaves change colors and leaves fall.
Synchronicity
So what is synchronicity? synchronicity is defined as the occurrence of meaningful coincidences that seem to have no cause; that is, the coincidences are acausal.
It is when events are happening that somehow that is pointing to something but, in reality, there was no cause for them to suddenly be in sync.
Summer that is usually tied to being carefree has ended. It’s time to get serious and start looking for the long term.
Here are some of the things we have noticed.
President Biden of the United States issued a vaccine mandate. if you do not get the vaccine, you will lose your job. Guess what. in the past few days, as much as 80% or more people working in hospitals and health workers are getting vaccinated.
Bitcoin has been going down the past few days. suddenly today there was a huge rally that raise the price of bitcoin. It started going down on September 20 going as low as 40,000. and it is now back up to 47,000.
There were surges in cases but now it is finally going down.
The first openly bisexual woman won the Ms. Universe in the Philippines.
The poker world
WSOP live has started and the first big event is looking good. even with a vaccine mandate in place.
Take note, in an industry that keeps insisting on big guarantees and low buy-in, is the new thing. WSOP main event has no Guarantee.
Poker rooms have started to re-open just recently as summer is ending.
Poker apps that host the big free-entry tournaments which they launch during September are now realizing it might not be that good of a plan.
The first day of filing of candidacy for a lot of the top positions in the Philippines including the president started October 1.
What could it all mean?
Maybe, just maybe it is time to be like trees. start looking into yourself and start realizing that we need to change.
The thing we thought could do easily was by doing shortcuts. it simply won’t work anymore.
We are in a pandemic, all talk of changing the history, how good was the golden era during martial law. all the hate. that will not help one bit.
Maybe it is time to stop assuming what the people want and simply talk to the people.
It is time to really look inside ourselves and ask. do we really want to go on living like this or do we start doing things better for a better future?
