Hey, Poker players!

September is about to end, How have you been.

It is probably a long month for quite a few poker players. There have been many many interesting things that happen this month.

Let look at it.

The online battle between apps 

Poker apps rule the Philippines. More players play on poker apps than poker sites.

And it was a fierce battle as X-poker even went as far as creating a 500k PHP free-entry. They still hold free-entry tournaments and are quite active trying to attract players.

Meanwhile, PP poker is also releasing its own guarantees.

But as the market is more Asian base. the guarantees are but limited especially since we are in a pandemic.

Meanwhile, UPoker which has a more western base was able to guarantee a bigger amount but is most favorable to the European time zone.

As apps operate differently. they do however affect the poker sites in terms of market shares.

Poker sites – the kings are still kinds while the wannabes stay the same.

Pokerstars and GG Poker are still on top, although new sites are popping up everywhere.  The kings remain kings.

but here are some facts, A few years ago we were fortunate to talk to one of the skins of GG poker.

Back then it was like how other poker apps and new poker sites operate. offering big rake backs. but soon they change their stance and acquired the rights to WSOP online and acquired some of the biggest names of poker.

GG Poker grew because of that. 

There are small brands right now using the branded names illegally because they too know that it is the key to success. 

Those are facts. but then there are still people who would tell you otherwise.

WSOP 2021 has begun.

After a year of absence, WSOP is back. Already it is filling the news how the biggest event in the world is back. Even with Mask mandates and vaccine rules. 

Event updates are on. We may not expect a lot of players but who knows if they can break the record this year. The first event would start in just a few hours and we have confirmation that Asian players flew to Las Vegas just to join WSOP.

Poker rooms in Metro Manila have re-opened.

Three major poker rooms have re-open. that is Pokerstars Live at Okada Manila, Metrocard Club, and Resort world poker room. 

We still recommend Metrocard club as it made a bold move of only allowing vaccinated people or people with the recent tests to be allowed to play.

Some would consider it unpopular but it is for the sake of the health and safety of the players.

It is quite amazing sometimes to see things from different views. Did you know in The United States, Summer ends in August and autumn begins.

Summer is where we go to the beach, relax, and have fun. Be carefree and just have fun.

But as summer ends, comes Autumn. where leaves change colors and things start changing.
