While small poker sites believe in shortcuts. like associating itself with brand names that have no official connection with them, Faking the number of registrants in order to appear many players are joining.
The truth is poker has lost its excitement for now.
How to make poker exciting again?
Actually, the answer has always been there. One of the biggest examples is GG Poker. their acquisition of big names actually helps them grow. Acquiring the right to hold the WSOP online events help them grew to 400%.
This is proven and well known as one poker site is trying to use the name of WSOP to promote itself. An online site is also promoting that their program was created by the old developers of Pokerstars.
Currently, big tournaments small buy-ins so that anyone can win are not that attractive anymore.
Right now, Resort worlds poker room will open tomorrow. They currently have the biggest bad beat jackpot. before the lockdown where the poker room had to close its doors once again. They were running 8 tables. The lowest blind there was 50-100 yet it was doing better than other poker rooms.
