Hey, poker playas!
Recently X-Poker just held a 500k free-entry tournament. Yes, you heard it right it was a 500k free-entry tournament.
Was it good? should you join the next one that is just around the corner? is it worth it? should you stop playing on your pokersite and join X-poker?
We hope to help you find the answer in this article.
Pros
X-Poker uses a blue and white design which is quite pleasing to the eye. the interface is somewhat similar to all other poker apps.
It was easy to join the club but most of it was the same as other poker apps.
Was is good. base on the numbers. more than 6,000 people joined. the total rebuys and add-ons accumulated to 2,375
The structure was actually good. however, it was kinda confusing, at the beginning of our test entry. we were not seeing how many chips we had but it was base on BB. It might be a user interface as when the tournament went a few levels deeper we were shown the proper chips count.

Cons
Like in all free-roll or free entry tournaments. There would definitely be a lot of gambling players.
Should players join? the answer is definitely a yes! as for free you can win a big money. The club owner we spoke to was quite friendly and accommodating. If players want to join the next tournament. We would share the club info,
Looking at poker apps as a whole.
X-Poker came in at the right time as their biggest competition has just finished a big event. With massive offers from X-Poker. It was only natural for clubs to shift.
With so many players complaining about bots from the other poker app. People felt were being ignored.
Note: We are not in any way insinuating that there are many bots on the other poker apps. There are bots and there are people who feel that their complaints are falling on deaf ears.
There was a good offer. so people jump. it was only natural.
The question now is what is next?
The truth is free-entry tournaments are good to attract players. but it is not a sure-fire way to conquer the Asian poker market. before the pandemic, there was a poker room that was offering free entry tournaments(with re-buy and add-on) but sadly they actually had to fund house players re-buys and add-on just to get them to play.
A few years back, an online site made a 1 Million freeroll in Manila which gain a good number of players. but in the end, it failed.
The question always falls back to what’s next. players are now more sophisticated and there are still competitions that could easily fire back with their own freerolls.
But then again, this is only a question time will tell.
But till then, there will be another free-entry tournament soon. Get it while it is free.
Stay safe poker playas!
