Lockdown blues part 2
Publish date: August 16, 2021

Hey, poker playas!

It has been more than a week since lockdown was enforced again. Sadly, it looks like the lockdown will have to be extended.

The Department of Health (DOH) of the Philippines government announced there are confirmed 14,610 have tested positive for the virus today. which brought the total of people that have been infected with the virus to 1,755,846.

Although the active case is only at 106,672, the more dangerous variants have been detected in the Philippines.

Most likely the lockdown will be extended. It is depressing but we must not lose hope. it is time to look forward and find other sources of income.

Options

Everything right now is online. most businesses have shifted their gear to online and it is probably the safest option for most people.

Cooking and baking!

It is time to bring out the master chef in you. Did you ever have a recipe that most of your friends loved? Maybe it is time to offer them that specialty.

WIth dine-ins are no longer available. maybe home-cooked food is what people are looking for!

Online selling

Even ukay-ukays have gone online. branded clothes are no longer in hot demand as most people are staying at home.

prepacked goods are also in hot demand. Maybe you know a direct supplier? Go for it!

Axie and other play-to-earn apps.

Axie became a hit lately in the Philippines. Axie is a game where you play and the things you collected can earn you money.

It is already late to invest in the game as the price of a start-up is quite expensive. However. you could still earn from such things as there are people looking for scholars as they say.

Other apps are also available. you just have to look for them.

Agent

A lot of people have become agents. Whether it’s cockfighting or casino. Although we avoid getting involved in such business. We have mainly focus on poker.

Is it good? yes, but you also need to find a good site to push. after all. no matter how good as an agent you are. A product must still be good.

Moving forward

Although most of us want things to go back the way it was before. The reality is that it may take a longer time before it happens.

The way to defeat the virus may look easy but it is not.

  • All people must be vaccinated in order to stop the spread of the disease. but the reality is that there will be always anti-vaxxers and those who are afraid of the vaccine. Having everyone vaccinated will not be easy.
  • In some countries, vaccines are still not available. There could be a huge demand but there is minimal supply.
  • The virus could further mutate into something that can resist the vaccine.
  • Countries like the Philippines depend on tourism. shutting down tourism longer will destroy economic growth.

There are just too many factors. for now, it is better to adapt and try to stay at home as much as possible in order for the virus not to be spread.

We need to learn to adapt to the new normal.
