In a few more days, lockdown begins again for Manila residents.

ECQ means that only essential establishments and industries will be allowed to operate. Hospitals, groceries, courier and delivery services, certain manufacturing firms, business process outsourcing will remain fully operational.

ENHANCED COMMUNITY QUARANTINE (ECQ) GUIDELINES UPDATE

(AUGUST 6 – AUGUST 20, 2021)

NOT ALLOWED

• Outdoor Tourist Attractions

• Venues for Meetings and Conference

• Personal Care Services (Salons, Barbershops, Beauty Clinics, etc.)

• Indoor and Outdoor Dining

• Entertainment Venues (Bars, Concert Halls, Theatre etc.)

• Recreational Venues (Net Cafes, Billiards, Arcades, etc.)

• Amusement Parks

• Lottery

• Indoor Sports Courts

• Indoor Tourist Attractions

• Religious Activities (only Virtual/ Online)

• METRO MANILA-WIDE CURFEW HOURS FROM 8:00 PM TO 4:00 AM STARTING AUGUST 6, 2021.

• PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION WILL REMAIN OPERATIONAL DURING ECQ PERIOD WITH 50% CAPACITY.

• LIQUOR BAN (SUBJECT TO THE DISCRETION OF LGUs) — FOR MUNTINLUPA NO ANNOUNCEMENT YET.

• USE OF QUARANTINE PASSES (DEPENDS ON THE LGUs) IF THEY WILL RE-ISSUE NEW ONES OR USE THE OLD ONES — FOR MUNTINLUPA NO ANNOUNCEMENT YET.

• ONLY AUTHORIZED PERSONS OUTSIDE RESIDENCE (APOR) ARE ALLOWED TO MOVE AROUND NCR.

• PERSONS AGED 18-65 ARE ALLOWED TO GO OUTSIDE FOR ESSENTIAL USE AND EMERGENCY REASONS ONLY.

Stocking up

Some people believe that the ECQ could extend till the end of the month. Hence we suggest people start stocking up.

The guidelines could change and could be more stricter to further control the virus.

There will be a lot of online tournament schedules for the lockdown.

The USOP on UPoker.

Pokerista plans to hold 2 events in the new few days.
