The battle of the poker apps.
Publish date: July 29, 2021

Hey, poker playas!

Because of the new variant. There is a looming chance of another strict lockdown on the horizon.

Interested now in playing poker but are you afraid to ask? confused with what is a poker app and a poker site?

This little guide will help you figure the apps out and their differences.

The difference between poker sites and poker apps

There is actually a huge difference between the two. one of the biggest differences is probably how readily available you can download the app itself.

That is because apps that use real money are strictly prohibited.

Wait if poker apps cant use real money, how do people deposit and play big games?

We will write more about it. but first what is a poker site.

Pokersites.

Poker sites are sites where the payments are directly into the sites. all money withdrawals and deposits are into the poker sites.

A big example of this is Pokerstars.

As the deposit and withdrawals are handled by the company. there is a good and bad side to it.

Pokers Apps!

Poker apps you can easily download the games in google play or the AppStore.

How real money works is different. people form clubs or what we can call private games. there is a gentleman agreement between the club owner and the players that the chips they are using have value.

There are a lot of those apps right now in PH. The most known app is PP poker.

we would be reviewing a lot of those apps and what they offer within the week. We would also feature quite a few poker sites as there are too many,

Poker apps also have their own game which is strictly play money.

Like other poker sites. there are play money tournaments on poker sites as well. so make sure you are participating in the right club to know if you are playing an actual game or a play money game.

Which to choose?

Poker app or pokersites?

There are pros and cons on both sides. poker sites are in USD and have a vast amount of players. while apps have less.

However, since it is a company. poker sites are much less personal in nature. its a business and that is what they serve.

Poker apps

Poker apps meanwhile of course can have local flavors to them. which is the big advantage of the app. playing in local currency is doable as long as there is an existing club that doing it.

You can as well easily search for the club owners.

Poker apps are in a battle mode

A lot of the apps right now like PP Poker and X Poker are duking it out.

Freerolls are held daily by two of its biggest unions and are promising to do more and bigger.

Right now, if you want to play freerolls and don’t have the budget. You can easily go look for an app.

Freerolls or actual games?

One thing bad about freerolls is that most tend to be very turbo in structure. it is actually more recommendable to buy in.

But then to attract the players. you need to invite them out.

As we would be posting more guides for players soon. we hope players stay safe during this pandemic

Stay safe poker playas!
