The world has changed so much because of the pandemic. and the poker world has changed in Manila. 

It is far from going back to the way it used to before.

Are the playing running to poker rooms. the answer is no. there are many factors why players are not.

• Underground rooms that are not restrictive.
• No tournaments.
• The Delta variant.
• Other competition like online cockfighting.
• No local unions or clubs.

Should you still play poker?

Yes, but not because we are a poker media. but when you played poker was it not love for the game? was it not because you found it exciting?

But the world has changed.

For so long, poker organizers relied upon tournaments to bring players to the poker rooms. Now there are no tournaments. what you have is only are cash game.  And cash games are not poker tournaments. it is way different.

Online tournaments nowadays are a bit brutal. High guarantee low buy-ins. but to cover the guarantee. the game has become fast-paced to induce re-buys.

but if you still love the game. then to win this game you should adapt.
