The games

The minimum blinds now are at 50-100 with a minimum buy-in of 4,000 PHP. Words on the street though are you should buy in at least 7k PHP to play decently.

The maximum number of players allowed on a table. is 6.

Safety protocols

Disclaimer: as we are not health experts. We neither judge nor grade the safety and health protocols being implemented. We only give a first-hand report on what we have experienced.

The tables are clean regularly with disinfectant using potent multi-Quat sanitizers.

There are dividers that are place on the side of each player. the transparent Dividers are not specifically built for the table but are movable dividers for other games as well.

We have seen some dividers to be higher than others which is more than 5 inches above the table. We were informed that those dividers are for craps.

Note: although the dividers maybe are present on the table. We did not actually see it being used on a live game. It may have been only placed there until needed.

The dividers are only on the side of the players. there is no divider place in front of the player or any transparent barrier.

It is recommended that all players should wear faceshield when sitting on the table.

The good

The bad beat jackpot at the Resort world poker room is at 6.5M PHP.

Tournaments

For tournaments, it might still take a few more months before any is allowed in any poker rooms.

Online is the best option and best value. as this week there is an 8.3 million PHP GTD for only 5500 PHP.

Yes, we too miss live tournaments. but stay patient. it will come back someday soon.

Stay safe poker playas!
