We are back at it again! Due to no live event in Manila. There is little nothing much to write about since technically there is no live event in Manila.
You have to get used to it if you are living in the Philippines. Unless you want to play on underground.
But if your main concern is your health and safety. Online is the way to go.

With regard to how to play a hand, The truth is how your play your hand depends heavily on your opponent.
Whatever your hand is. how you play it depends on your opponent.
Before we go to that. let us just say the basic is important.
Knowing and playing ABC poker is important!
A lot of the basic ABC is important that is because in a real situation. When you sit down on a table and you still are trying to figure out your opponent. Having the right basic will guide you or save you.
While trying to read or categorize an opponent. It is a guide if you are new to the table or you really have no clue what is your opponent’s style of playing.
What is ABC poker?
Playing basic poker is not just playing poker. A way to explain it is simple.
let say you are the button and a few players just called. Let say you have a hand.
The hand chart(which is available in an easy google search) tells you the probability of the hand your opponent might have. How much you should raise.
However, it is not absolute. the chance of your opponent having a better hand is let say 10%. But he could still have a better hand.
But because the chance that you have a better hand than him gives you an edge to raise the pot and take down the pot at once. But it is not absolute.
Why ABC fails
The reason why it fails and there is no perfect formula for poker is simple. All strategies are based on that the possibilities of your opponent hand.
But when you assume other factors like he just wants to call the hand because it is his favorite number. Although in your mind “no sane person would call with such a hand”. He did and got lucky on the flop.
The odds although are against the person. run it a few times with the same hand and you would have an edge.
There are many other possibilities. but the end of the day. knowing your opponent gives you an edge.
You don’t play Aces the same way against a fish and a pro.
ABC or basic is just telling you how to play if you are new or in a field of unknown players.
But when you know your opponent’s playstyle. It becomes a totally different game.
Hand analysis oftentimes excludes the experience with the opponent. A lot of youtube clips can show you a massive bluff. but it could be that the player has known his opponent for such a long time that he was comfortable that he could make the opponent fold.
