The U Series of poker may be over. but how did it go?

This week we are looking into the U series of poker held at the Upoker app.

Trophies were sponsored by Upoker.

And here is the quick rundown.

The good

A total of 1,573 players were recorded for the main event. but there were a total of 4,971 entries.

breaking the guarantee of the main event.

The winner ziKvirus won more than 70,000 USD. or more or less more than 3.5 million pesos.

And it looks like Brazil is the big winner as 7 of the final table including the champion came from Brazil.

Here is the list of the final table.

Champion – ziKvirus

2nd place – VVAR3
3rd Place – harry pote
4th place G4ULES
5th place – VezhennNapi
6th Place – ChrisCornell
7th Place – Fuck Im Bluffing
8th place – MagicStick
9th place – annyip
10th place – TieSpill

The monumental poker celebration of 22 events over 9 consecutive weekends has ended with a good bang.

Congratulations go to all the winners

The bad

A lot of good Filipino poker players did join the event. but the truth is a lot of the top players of the Philippines either refuse to join the local union or joined on another country instead.

Upoker may be a great product. but a bad choice for a Union head has become detrimental to its growth.

When you have more than 70% of the top 30 of PH refusing to join his union which was supposed to help players joined the USOP. It may be time to rethink their choice.

There are people who would say we would always have haters. The majority did not hate the union. They just do not trust the local union.

The Other stuff

New clubs have been formed and this week there is a 10 million PHP GTD. Upoker may still be young but it is definitely growing.

With so many competitions out there. the fact Upoker can still have a great event means a lot.

We are definitely looking forward to their next great big event.
