Jason Ambata tips for people who want to play online.

  1. Learn to fold

Playing online is different from playing live. More hands are dealt in an hour than live poker games.

Never get married on a hand. If the odds are against you. Just fold your hand as there will be a lot more hands that be dealt soon.

2. Never play drunk

No matter how good you are, alcohol can affect you mentally. The more alcohol you drink. the better for you not to play.

You can lose your whole bankroll or what you grinded for a week by just comiting a simple mistake.

3. Be attentive at the table.

As there are more hands being dealt, you have the opportunity to see your opponent’s hands more.

Learn to focus and watch their action. it can save you a lot by being able to study your opponent.

4. Never get emotional on the table.

Sometimes a player would intentionally show a bluff just to piss you off. Your opponent will do their best to put you on tilt so you can make a mistake.

Leave the ego behind.

5. Never try to climb up the blinds too quickly.

HIgher blinds tend to have bigger money. However, it can also destroy your bankroll.

The only reason to jump to a higher blind is you have enough bankroll. Never go for the minimum bind-in. You have to assume that you need another buy-in.

You can get hit and by not having enough bankroll. You will not be able to recover your lost back.

6. Never try to be a hero

So you think he is bluffing and you only have a high card.

Let it go.

Poker is about having discipline and patient. More importantly in Poker.

hands are dealt faster. You will have your chance to win.

Stay safe poker playas!
