Poker Tips from Florencio Campomanes
- Play the blinds you are most comfortable in.
Every blind is different. Locally there is a blind that is 20-40 and next is 25-50. but that 5 PHP difference can also change the game.
It is also hard to play in big games if you are not comfortable losing chips. Every blind has a different game play.
Only play the blinds you are relax and not pressured.

2. spend as much time studying as you do playing.
Never stop reading books or any materials out there. Poker is not just about cards. it is also about players. as players evolved. so should you.
There are strategy books out there. and maybe you have your own strategy. but these could also be the strategies your opponent use. but learning them. you have an edge against your competitor.
3. preparing for a session is almost as important as what you do in play
To reach your optimum level, you have to get into the zone. You are not just going there to play. you are going there to win.
Take notes and read them before the game.
Review your past mistakes. if you against the people on your table before. what are their habits?
Players just sit down and play. Champions sit down to win.
4. Be attentive
Sometimes players can make mistakes, or they could have a tell. There are times their betting pattern can even tell you their hands.
Who was the original raiser on preflop? How much is the pot? how much was the bet on the flop and turn?
All of this can be a vital source of information to know your opponents hand.

5. don’t sulk in losses, as well as don’t over glorify wins
As powerful as a bad hand can put you on tilt. Allowing your ego to grow big after a big win can also be the same.
If you lose the last match. let it go, every hand dealt is a new hand. Do not let it affect you.
