The oldest and biggest poker house in Manila before the pandemic has announced it will reopen its doors to the public,
Poker establishments were forced to close its doors due to the pandemic, for awhile players could only play online.
But things are slowly changing in Manila.
Metrocard club
Metrocard club is probably the oldest poker house in Manila. For more than a decade, Metro has been the home of many poker heroes you see today.
It has been a while. but now it is official. Metrocard club will re-open its doors to the public on February 5, 2021, at 5 PM.
Safety Measures
Currently, these are the announced safety measures for players who would want to play.
- Limited players per table (6-max)
- Facemask must be worn at all times
- no eating inside the card room (dining will only be allowed outside)
- washing of hands before entering
- disinfection of chairs and tables after each player leaves

Another poker room in Malate has opened.
Limited only to one table. another poker room in Malate has opened.
Although it is still in the same location as an old poker room. Everything will be new including the license and tables.
There was an old poker room that operated on the same building. However, the old owners and management were already removed during the pandemic.
For now, it is exclusively only for foreigners as it is part of a casino.
