Who do you think will top GPI PH 2021?
Publish date: January 16, 2021

Live poker events are slowly returning to Manila. The Vaccine is underway, quarantine restrictions are being eased. Soon players can fly again.

There are many talented Filipino poker players out there. but who do you think will top Philippines GPI 2021? let us look at the top 4.

Mike Takayama

Mike Takayama is the first and only Filipino to have won a WSOP bracelet. Which does put him ahead of the crowd.

The players who have fought with him on the table compares him to Stu Ungar.

A player who has a genuine talent for the game. They say that Takayama just has a natural instinct to it.

It could be true as for years many Filipinos have tried their luck in winning the bracelet. but only Takayama did.

He has been consistent with his game lately and during the pandemic. He was still active in playing poker whether live or online. Can he maintain the number 1 spot?

Under construction! A poker site interested in taking this space! hope things work out!

Florencio IV Campomanes

Flo Campomanes is actually quite different from Mike Takayama. Flo has been playing for so long and had to study hard to get to his level right now.

Flo actually promotes people to study. in an interview what his advice to new poker players.

“You should study the game. it took me more than 10 years to learn the game. Studying is important”

The first Filipino to win the Red Dragon main event. Could his years of study start paying of more this year?

They also wanted this space! We hope so!

Dave Spade

Dave Spade has not won a big main event in the past few years. but he has been consistent in cashing in and winning side events.

During the lockdown. People could watch him stream either poker games or something else.

He has kept himself busy but such a long period of time could change his game.

Can his consistent run continue in 2021 when tournaments come back to action?

Could this be the year he finally wins a big main event?

But for now, please support our only sponsor. all you have to do is listen to his songs!

Thank you!

Reggie Bautista

Suddenly bursting into the scene year. being a Filipino poker player in a country that allowed the games really made the difference.

But to be at the top of GPI, the name of the game is consistency.

He may have an advantage right now being in the United States. but he still has to win to gain points.

Swings can also happen where players can suffer from a huge drought.

Can he take advantage of the privilege of being in a place where tournaments are still regular?

Can he cement his status as a truly great player?

The game has barely begun

With so many factors that can affect the game still hanging in the air. it could become an exciting race.

Stay tuned as we give you updates on what is becoming an exciting 2021.

See you soon poker playas!
