The lone Korean on the final table. he played well against the local pros. but Seungeon or also known as Jacob could not maintain his game. He fought valiantly until the last card. He ended up being busted by Reynaldo Dela Rosa who was coming in hot after a win.
April Valerio
8th Place
The only rose among the group. April was quite impressive in here game. She was quite aggressive in her plays but kept a calm composure all throughout the tournament. More ladies are coming out and are trying to prove that this is not only a man’s game. and in this field where there were a lot of opponents. Even if she bowed out at 8th place. She fought very hard and deserved to be on the final table.
Rene Echevarria
7th place
Rommel Angeles
6th place
Rommel “Mau” Angeles is having a good run this year. winning and reaching the final table in numerous events this year. He has slowly carved a name for himself in the local poker scene. a bankable player who eyes for the trophy. one wonders can he become the next superstar in the Asian poker scene.
Congratulations
The Final 5
The five remaining players discussed and wanted to make a deal to change the payout. After a few discussions, they have agreed with an ICM deal.
Daniel Edwards
5th place
Reynaldo Villegas
4th place
Reynaldo Villegas or “Daddy Ching” as he is fondly called came to the final table with the shortest stack.
A veteran in the world of poker. He mainly plays cash games and grinds his day. bringing his skills to the tournament felt. it was quite a good day for Daddy Ching as his stack was going up and down. not scared of the new players. His tight-aggressive playstyle suits him well. we hope to see more of him in the next coming tournaments.
Rene Pacayra
3rd place
Caught in the middle of 2 players. Rasid Paito came in with the chip lead but on his other side Reynaldo Dela Rosa who has amassed a good stack from his tight and steady gameplay. Rasid was aggressive having the chip lead while Reynaldo was showing he was only playing good hands.
He still needed to make a move but it wasn’t enough. However, it was a good run but the stacks were not in his favor. but Congratulations for the valiant effort!
Heads Up
Another deal has been made, but the battle to who will become the champion continued even when it was heads-up. it was a great battle that still took awhile. but in the end, the winner was declared.
